DAY 1: NAIROBI.

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyata International Airport, you will be met and assisted by African Legend Safaris Representative then transferred to your hotel.

DAY 2: NAIROBI/MASAI MARA.

You will be picked from your Hotel and depart towards Kenya’s fertile highlands and head down the Rift Escarpment. You’ll pass the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you head across the Valley to Narok, and then on to the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your Lodge for check-in and lunch. The lodge blends in perfectly with its surrounding hillside landscape. The accent here is on the Masai people and the wealth of wildlife, birdlife, and natural flora to be found in the fabled Masai Mara Game Reserve. 16h00: Enjoy an afternoon game drive around the world famous Mara. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA.

Full day spent in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight stay at the lodge. Today we’ll bring you to a Masai Village to meet this nomadic tribe. You will see their dwellings, meet the Masai people, and chat with them as well as take photos. Masai Mara offers an absolutely unique variety of animals. The reason is that this hilly region is both humid and fertile, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers, full of crocodiles and hippos, which carry water the whole year round. The banks of the rivers are covered in thick forest, which gradually makes way for bush and grassland. The abundance of water and excellent availability of food are the reasons why the Masai Mara, which in fact is a continuation of the Tanzanian Serengeti National Park, has the greatest population of wild animals in the whole of Africa. There is a particularly dramatic “spectacle” from July to November, the annual migration of huge herds of Gnus and zebras. Predators such as Hyenas, Jackals, Leopards and Lions of course, closely follow these herds. Gigantic herds of over 200 buffaloes can also be observed. Plenty of food is available for elephants, giraffes, and the many species of antelopes.

DAY 4: THURSDAY - MASAI MARA/NAIROBI.

Have breakfast at the lodge and depart for Nairobi. Arrive and proceed to Carnivore Restaurant for a lunch. The afternoon is at leisure, free for shopping or rest. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport for departure back home.
